In the Customer Value Club on September 24th, 2021, the speaker was Pia Rautakorpi, CEO of Arvova, and the topic was “Customer Value on the Board’s Agenda.”

The Customer Value Club, which has remained popular throughout the year, has provided a platform for many enlightening and engaging discussions. This time, the star guest was the club’s founder, Pia Rautakorpi, CEO of Arvova and a Customer Value Innovator, who presented the role of the board in building customer value and invited the audience to discuss customer value together.

Pia Rautakorpi, founder of Arvova Ltd, has been involved in building and developing customer value in various roles within boards, strategic work, and as a CEO, spanning from startups to publicly listed companies since the early 2000s. In the spring of 2021, she created the popular coaching program ‘Tools for the Board in Managing Customer Value.’ According to her, the understanding of the importance of the topic has grown, but there is still work to be done, especially in terms of strategic competence and measurement.

During the club’s morning session on Friday, customer value was discussed from three different perspectives:

What is customer value from the board’s perspective?

Why should the board be capable of monitoring strategic customer value?

What methods are available for monitoring strategic customer value, and how does the customer balance sheet serve the tracking of customer value?

The recording is in Finnish.
